It’s a mistake to overlook the benefits of reading a book.
The benefits that come from reading apply to pretty well all aspects of life, whoever you are, whatever age you are and whatever you do. And while, yes, sometimes reading a book online is sensible, having a real-life physical book in your hands is a far more relaxing experience than staring at a screen.
There are loads of perfectly understandable, valid reasons for not setting some time aside to read. We’re bombarded with quick-fire information, primarily but not solely in the form of ‘social media’. We’re busy, and all our lives seem to get ever-more complicated. Maybe you found reading hard going when you were young and that put you off. Maybe you’ve simply never ‘got into it’ for some other reason. But whatever the reason why you don’t read much these days, the very significant benefits are there to be had – at little or no expense.
Don’t just nod and move on! This isn’t just so much waffle. This “Lifehack” article below nicely introduces 10 benefits that can be gained. Spend a few minutes with it, and grab the opportunities that are there for you. You can find something to read about any topic, in any style, fact or fiction, easy-to-read or more challenging. Why wouldn’t you want a better life?
