It’s possible to see new things simply by changing how you look.
Of course, cold weather – properly cold – can be a challenge. But that aside, if you can appreciate what cold weather brings, it can be something to actively enjoy.
I think of cold weather as giving a new frame to what’s already there – from plants to animals, cars to house fence tops and most everything else. And as with re-framing a familiar picture that’s on your wall at home, a new frame for everything outside helps you see things afresh.
What you actually see will vary as the year rolls by. Everything, one way or another, has to interact with the weather. But all you have to do is notice what’s there. No special skills or equipment required.
