Climate Change will … change everything.
I strongly suspect I have nothing to say in connection with autumn that’s not been said by others before me. Thoughts about colours, endings, regeneration … and so on. What does this lack of originality betray/reflect? An over-exposure to images – about autumn or anything else? It easy to feel we’re saturated with pictures these days, which combine to make it harder to pause and look and appreciate what’s there.
Appreciation might be the key thing. With all the climate-related pressures on nature that there are, autumn as we know it might soon be a thing of the past. The picture below and those on the related RG4 gallery were all taken in November, which is later in the year than would have been the case once. Appreciate it all now, while we can.
This item on the Caversham sister site, the3rd3rd, offers a different angle on autumn. And the RG4 gallery is here.
